- After many years, we have decided to change the
hours of Kayo Books back to our original schedule of Thursday through
Saturday from 11 to 6. The new
schedule will begin April 1, 2007. In
order to keep the hallowed doors of Kayo open into the future, we felt
the need to increase our flexibility. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes, and as a result
we vow to make every effort to be open by appointment for out-of-area
visitors. Please call us at
415-269-6286 or 415-749-0554 to make an appointment if our open hours are
not convenient.

- Recent purchases have included a first-rate paperback collection which included, among other items, top notch hardboiled paperbacks including runs of Jim Thompson, David Goodis, Charles Willeford and more, many in near fine condition; a beautiful group of early Dell Mapbacks including some file copies, a run of the first 100 Popular Library titles, and a nice collection of vintage mystery digests.
